This message is transmitted to you from  while he is in jail on new years eve
#bahrain #newyear2013

Dear all

I wish everyone a Happy and Prosperous New Year and hope Year 2013 is the year of freedom in Bahrain.

My dear friends in Bahrain and all around the Free World, we count on your strong support to make our country a better place to live for every one.

Everyone should remember that all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights and their natural place is with their families and with the people and not inside the jail

Human rights defenders are people who individually or collectively act to promote and protect human rights for the people around the world and making sure that all parties and espicially those invloved in conflicts do not override those rights

Human rights defenders risk their safety and their lives to document, monitor, challenge abuses and human right violations, despite hardships and obstacles that they face every day and every hour and every minute

Wherever you are, please sign a petition to the Bahraini government calling for the immediate and unconditional release of all Human defenders in our country and to stop using the law to sanction human right works and activities

You could also write a letter to the Bahraini Embassy in your country calling for their freedom. Do it now, please and not later. It will help us

As humens and creators of our own future and as part of our commitment to the next generations we have to prepare a base for a democratic free country where people could sue the police officers for killing detainees at the police stations and question minister of interior for using excessive force against freedom fighters

I further call on all interested parties, specifically United Nations, USA and United Kingdom and all the friends of the Bahraini Government to demand the immediate release of Human Right Defenders and all detainees

I am detained because the right to free expression in Bahrain is banned and my other couleagues like abduljalil alsingaice, nabeel rajab and abdulhadi alkhawaja are either sentenced or pending unfair trials

Please send messages around the world or tweet about bahrain as much possible as you can.

Thank you all and Happy New Year
